Here's where it gets nutty. On our overnight 1000+ mile drive from Reno to Denver, Gloria the Winnebage (or Unicorn according to Phil) decided the Liver Die Tour was going to become the Motor Die Tour and decided to post up @ the half way point (the cleavage if you will) between Reno & Denver, Salt Lake City. Yeah, what do you do when you don't know where you are and don't know what to do? You do something, that's what you do. The people we've met here have been so nice, understanding, helpful, and fun. Thanks to our friends at Blue Boutique for partying, and Shaggy's and Bourbon St. for letting play some shows on such short notice. Rahspect.
In the meantime, all Denver shows have been pushed back one week-ish until we get Gloria up and running again (Tuesday of next week).
Continue to follow your dreams, and we'll see you soon. Oh yeah, be sure to check out new videos in the DOWNLOADS section as well as the pix section. 7.17.05 - Sunday 6.17.05 - Friday

Happy days are here again. Thanks to everyone who came out to our first show ever at the Troubadour a few weeks ago. Thanks to Sean Healy for hooking us up. However, its now out with the new and in with the old, as our next 3 shows are gonna be at our 3 favorite places to play ever - the Roxy on Mar 24th, Crespi Celtstock on Apr 21st, and the St. Francis De Sales Carnival.
Brief C24C History: the SFDS Carninal was were I first saw these guys play oh, 8 years ago. And 1999 Crespi Celtstock was the 1st time all 5 of us played together... still 8 years ago. Damn, that's a long time ago. Still tryin' to blow up. You know how it is.

To all those who were at the show last Saturday night (2.11.06).... you guys friggin' rocked. hope to see you all again very soon. pictures to come....
Dear friends of c24c,
I am in the studio right now and working on a new version of Never Hoped for Bad. In the last week we have had a Latin percussionist and a
saxophone player come in and play on this song. Needless to say, it is
sounding absolutely amazing. It's been awhile since we've played a show and
trust me we are itching to get back on stage and let everyone hear the
fruits of our labor. Here's what's been goin' down:
Since Japan we came home and were fortunate enough to hook up with a
producer by the name of Gary Falcone (Top Gun Soundtrack, Toto). His
experience and positivity have helped shape the sound of C24C into
something we never dreamed of. We have been in the studio for about 3
months now and are very close to finishing up what will be a new full length
album. It is a collection of some classic songs redone (Super Mario Bros.), some rearranged songs (Wednesday Mornings), and even a few brand new songs we can't wait for you to hear. We are hoping for it to be around 11 - 13 songs.
This has been an incredible experience so far and we are hoping for
a ridiculous 2006 including getting back on the road as soon as possible.
Another Japan trip is also in the works. Thanks to everyone for being a part of our lives for so long. In
May C24C will be turning 7 years old. Not bad for a group of guys who started out just
wanting to make people laugh and have a good time.
Love and Respect,
Philip Douglas
C24C
PRESENTS!!!! That's prob what you all are thinking right now huh. Us too. But in the brief moments between consumerism and sleep, we've actually been in the studio again. Kinda our winter ritual I know, but this time it's different. We can't say much about the recordings just yet, but we're hoping to come out with our best sounding recordings to date. STAY TUNED FOR VIDEOS AND MP3's on the Downloads Page.
Costumes, lingerie, fun, friends, and great loud music... the 5 things that made last Saturday's show at the House of Blues on Sunset quite magically. 1st of all, we were/are so honored and excited to have been able to play that stage and rock. God it felt good. Thanks to Sean Healy and all the other bands for making that event the shit. Check out Innocent Noise and Tila if you haven't yet. Great show.
The boys are back in town. After 27 days of living in a death box named Gloria, we're home, sleepin' in beds again, and showering. Eff yeah.
Thanks to all our friends and fanatics for coming to the Roxy last night and showing us why LA is where it's at. Really dug the custom shirts. We heart you too.
1. not making the 1st show due to winnie issues - partying really hard in an Oxnard parking lot - liver die tour kickoff party.
2. getting free hotel room at the peppermill in Reno - leads to gambling - leads to making money for the band, losing money personally... damn
3. breaking down in Utah... for a week! - get 2 shows and awesome friends who work at the sex shop across the street from the mechanic - make Utah a huge brightspot on the tour
4. teaching bottle hockey to partiers in Denver
5. double encore in the face of hecklers in Denver
6. partying w/ the Transit War in Denver - sup yall - is it possible for one band to love another band?
7. discovering that places like Super Happy Fun Land in Houston exist - meeting & hearing Transmography
8. playing 2 awesome weekend shows in Austin - sandwiched around terb and I getting suckerpunched by douche bouncers
9. ever heard of hineys?
10. comin' home to friendly faces and warm places
We've entered State #9 of this the C24C Liver Die tour and are now on Frat/Sorrority Row here in Tucson, AZ. Just played 6 shows in 6 nights. That is nice. Terb just magically got us a gig tomorrow on a Reggae show in San Diego @ the Brick by Brick.
Hiney's in El Paso was interesting, it's kinda like a hooter's but with more emphasis on the butt. A singer songwriter named Ronnie Tay opened up for us and had some fans, we on the other hand had none. It was great.
So Austin, TX is probably the most live band oriented place I've ever been too. We played a Tues and Wed night there this week, and we were just 1 of like prob 200 bands that played those nights. Thanks to Beau & Kelly for putting us up and showing us the true value of air conditioning and swimming pools. It's effin' humid out here.
Just like they say in Old School, Denver ... gorgeous. 2 nights ago we played with Meniskus @ Cricket on the Hill, rocked. Met some amazing ppl who put us up at their place. What was their reward for such amazing hospitalitiy... well, we taught them how to play hockey the drinking game. I know... we're such givers.
Then last night we played at the 15th St. Tavern in downtown Denver. Despite the places hard(er) reputation and local fan base, we went in there and played probably our best show of the tour. TWO ENCORES!!! Booya. Take that hecklers. YOU guys suck.
Special Denver thanks MelindaRelli and Shane, Javi, Bobby, Katie and co. for all the hospitality. We love you and want you to rock.
Reno was fantastic. Thanks to all our friends at the Liquid Lounge, Zephyr Bar, and Peppermill for being so welcoming. Big thanks to Gricelda and Auntie Abing for getting us the place to stay and for helping us book future Reno/Philippines C24C shows. Mahal kita.
- Steve
Today is a rest/relax/and-get-Gloria-the-winnebago-up-and-going day. Day 1 was horrible and hilarious at the same time. Basically, Gloria didn't want to play in Santa Barbara and would rather post up in a oxnard packing lot and party. Hey, it happens. But day 2 we got Gloria excited again and treked up to Sacramento and rocked the Owl Club. Thanks to Tyler, Lauren, and all our friends for coming and showing us a good time. Church parties go off apparently. Up next... RENO! Liver Die tour rolls on...

The UC Irvine show was incredible. Thanks to Ryan for getting us on the bill, thanks to the guys from Lorene Drive, Letter Kills, and Sugarcult for everything, and special thanks to all the UCI students and kids who snuck in for making us feel so welcome. And thanks for catching Mike when he stage dived.... jeez.
OK, the STAY GOLD 3 SONG SAMPLER is NOW AVAILABLE! It's FREE with a purchase of the C24C Anthology, and only $3 otherwise. Shock on.
- steve
Stay Gold artwork is nearing completion and our 3 song sampler will be ready
to party on Monday May 9th, which is coincidentally Captain Steve's 14th
birthday. Way to go Steveo, only one more year until that permit. Clips from
the full length album are up for your listening pleasure and I made
out with my ex last night, ef yeah.
Ok lots to talk about. Maybe I'll bullet this update..... yeah, I think I will.
- We are currently trying to raise money for our upcoming US/Japan "Liver Die" Tour 2005. 1st fundraising adventure... GARAGE SALE BABY in Canoga Park, San Fernando Valley, CA on May 28th. Come one, come all.
- Our upcoming album STAY GOLD has been recorded, mixed, and mastered and is now in the hands of way smarter ppl who are doing the artwork and soon
the duplication. I'd say it'll be ready about the same time as the garage sale, so yeah... pretty funny how that worked out.
- Crazy Mechanic Mike (as well as Phil, Buch, Sharp, and others) have been working hard on our tour bus. The '77 Dodge Sportsman aka FIREBALL is running and looks ready to hit
the mean streets of anywhere USofA this summer. Fuck yeah.
- Ginah and JT continue to serve us drinks and bounce for us (respectively) everywhere we play. Love.
You will no longer be able to watch c24c every wednesday night @ pickwick's pub, due to the unfortunate fire that burned down the bar late friday night. a benefit show is going to happen, and when it does please show your support and local love.
- steve

Tune into c24c's debut radio interview Thursday afternoon from 2-4PM. We'll be talking about the new album, the Anthology, upcomings shows, and lots of much lamer things as well.

2 weeks ago we played at Pickwick's pub and it was awesome. Those of you sober enough to hang in there til 1 can now forever recall the miracle of drunken table running. And again, boycott Taboo Lounge. This fall and winter, we'll be playing at Pickwick's on Ventura Blvd just west of Desoto regularly. Next show, next wedNESday.
So the last few weeks we haven't played any shows. But what we have been doing is bonding, writing new tunes, and binge drinking at Pickwick's Pub. Boycott Taboo Lounge by the way. So now that it's 2004, time to step up in the face of growing technological advances and start postin' video updates. boom. So yeah, we'll be postin some. Check the homepage or downloads page.
Gonna be partying at Phil's old house tomorrow night in SD. Probably from
9 - 2 ish. Come get hammered w/ us. We might play a song or two, maybe. Check
the shows page for the address.
Thank god it's Monday. Why? I came home this morning only to find out that
Phil and Drew finished recording on 2 songs at the Causeway Rehearsal Space and we have 2 brand spankin' new mp3's for you. That's
pretty damn amazing. So enjoy. More mp3's to
come, and make sure you come up to Santa Barbara this weekend to check us
out at Fiji Islander w/ Face to Face and Death on Wednesday.
Eve6 show is temporarily on hold for another month. Frat shit.
We got 2 songs finished at Studio West in San
Diego and 4 more in the works at the Causeway
Studio. The other 4 tunes should be up in the next few weeks. Enjoy.
Yes! Thanks to the Bay Area connections of Webmaster Will and his Irish Thug
gang, we got a new site. The layout is just about done. Not all the links work
yet, but don't fret, we're on it. Special thanks to Darran for working hard
and putting a lot of creativity into this site.
